What you get

Every Monday, a ready-to-work lead list

One row per company, with the award details and the public record behind it.

  • New DoD award winners

Company, city, state, ZIP and UEI for every business that won a new DoD prime contract in your region that week.

  • The award itself

Amount, awarding component (Army, Navy, DLA…), NAICS and PSC codes, and a link to the public federal record.

  • Lead score (0–100)

Ranks small businesses, first-time DoD winners and CUI-type work at the top, so you know who to call first.

  • CMMC likelihood flag

Likely / Possible / Unclear, inferred from the type of work and award size. Never a claim about a company’s actual CMMC status.

  • New-to-DoD flag

Marks companies with no DoD prime award in the prior 3 years.

  • CSV or Google Sheet

Delivered every Monday as a CSV file or a Google Sheet. Import it straight into your CRM.

How it works

From public award data to a scored list

No scraping, no purchased data. The whole pipeline runs on official U.S. government data.

  1. 1

    Pull

We query official USAspending.gov award data for new DoD prime contract awards (types A–D) in the latest fully published Monday–Sunday week.

  2. 2

    Filter & dedupe

Awards are grouped into one row per company (by UEI) for the six covered states. A lookback over each company’s prior 3 years of DoD awards sets the New-to-DoD flag.

  3. 3

    Score & flag

Each company gets a 0–100 lead score and an inferred CMMC likelihood tier. The full formula is published below.

  4. 4

    Check & deliver

Automated quality checks must pass before anything ships. Then the feed goes out Monday as a CSV or Google Sheet.

Methodology

A lead score you can explain

Every company gets a score from 0 to 100. Nothing is hidden: here is the full formula.

Lead score components
ComponentPointsWhat it measures
Award sizeUp to 3535 × log10(total new award value) ÷ 8, capped at 35 (reached at $100M). Log scale, so one huge award doesn’t drown out everything else.
RecencyUp to 1010 points if the latest award is dated the week’s Sunday, minus 10/7 of a point for each day earlier.
Small business20At least one of the week’s awards went to a recipient USAspending lists as a small business.
New to DoD20No DoD prime award in the prior 3 years.
CMMC tier15 / 7 / 0Likely 15, Possible 7, Unclear 0. A company takes the highest tier among its awards that week.

CMMC likelihood tiers

  • Likely385 companies

The award’s NAICS or PSC code is on our CUI-associated list (for example aerospace and machinery manufacturing, electronics and instruments, engineering, computer systems design, R&D and IT) and the award is $25,000 or more. CMMC requirements may apply.

  • Possible457 companies

CUI-associated work under $25,000, other work of $25,000 or more, or low-signal work (medical, food, fuel, leases, facilities, transport) of $250,000 or more. FCI-level CMMC may apply.

  • Unclear195 companies

Low-signal work under $250,000, or other work under $25,000.

Counts are from the July 13–19, 2026 week. Flags are inferred from NAICS, PSC and dollar size only. A company’s actual CMMC status isn’t public, and the feed never claims to know it.

FAQ

Questions, answered plainly

Why is the data about 90 days old?

DoD contract records reach USAspending.gov about 90 days after award (a DoD rule that protects operations). Every source built on this data has the same delay, so “this week” means the most recent fully published Monday–Sunday week. Right now that’s July 13–19, 2026.

Is the CMMC flag a company’s certification status?

No. It is an inferred likelihood that CMMC requirements may apply, based on NAICS, PSC and award size. Actual CMMC status isn’t public. Our terms prohibit telling anyone, or implying, that a company is or isn’t compliant based on the feed.

Do you sell personal data?

No. This is business data from public federal records, with no consumer data. It is not a consumer report under the FCRA and must not be used for credit, insurance, employment, housing or any other FCRA purpose.

Where does the data come from?

Official USAspending.gov award data (U.S. Treasury). We don’t scrape websites, and we never request or store Dun & Bradstreet fields (DUNS, D&B parent). Details are on the data & methodology page.

What format is it delivered in?

A CSV file or a Google Sheet, every Monday. The columns are the same as the free sample.

Can I cancel?

Yes. Subscriptions renew monthly and you can cancel any time, effective at the end of the current billing period.
